And who doesn’t enjoy a birthday party? From August 14- August 28th, 2020 you can celebrate with EXPLORE & MORE at their one-year birthday party at CANALSIDE, both in person and virtually!
There is a scavenger hunt for the children throughout the museum with prizes! The children can write their birthday wishes on the birthday wall! There are activities for adults that include a chance to win a $250 Wegmans gift card! They can also bid on super prizes on the online auction.
The Mission of the EXPLORE & MORE -THE RALPH WILSON JR. CHILDREN’S MUSEUM is to provide the best in class play experiences where all children, families & the community can explore, learn & grow together.
They also have FAMILY FUN FRIDAYS at Canalside (which is free programming). They offer activity kits focused on different activities and include everything you need to do the activity as well as detailed instructions (example: Red, White & Blue Windsock for ages 5-9, Derby Car Kit for children ages 6 years old and up, Ezra, the Astronaut Challenge kit for ages 7 through 9 and Modeling Dough for ages 3-6) For the cost of $5 each, the museum offers the Read & Cook an Adventure through Zoom classes which include Apple Pie, Loaves of Fun, Mexican Ice Pops and World of Pizza.
